Grapes coming from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz Vineyard’s were foot trodden and fermented in 14 ton traditional stone tanks (lagares) for 7 days. After the malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats the wine was racked into new French oak barrels for 6 months ageing.
Pacheca Lagar no8 is very concentrated, with intense maturered fruit aroma, hints of violets and cocoa. This wine has a great structure, full bodied, matured round tannins, with a long persistent nished.
