Tasting notes
Straw yellow colour. Aroma complex, with citric and dried fruit nuances, involved in an appealing minerality. Volume, freshness and minerality.
Food Pairing
Plain red meat dishes, and soft cheese.
Vinification
Manual harvest into chests of 15 kg. Manual selection on mat. After destemming and crushing, the grapes are sent to a pneumatic press where the must was separated from the skins, and then subject to static decantation for clarification.
Vineyards
Vineyards located at the Sub-Region of Terras de Senhorim between the Dão and Mondego rivers, planted between 400 and 500m of altitude in granite soils, with an average age of 30 years.
