Tasting notes
Bright garnet color. Notes of clay and ripe black fruit, in an elegant and attractive blend. On the palate, it’s soft and fresh, with a striking finish that brings out challenging notes of fruit and the characteristics of the carving.
Food Pairing
Chickpea stew, Alentejo-style pork, mushroom feijoada, duck rice.
Vinification
Winemaking took place using the traditional process, in clay amphorae and without temperature control.
Vineyards
Vineyards planted in crato a small town in the sub-region of Portalegre near the São Mamede Mountain, vineyards with an average age of 12 years, at an altitude of between 260 and 300 meters.
