Tasting notes
Defined citrine colour. Aroma is fruity, discreet in white-fleshed fruits, but persistant, hints of dried fruit and lightly toasted. Fruity and fresh, elegante and harmonious in the finish.
Food Pairing
As an appetizer or paired with regional dishes and desserts.
Vinification
Total desteaming, gentle pressing, natural static decantation, controlled fermentation at 16ºC. Second fermentation in bottle (Classical method) and degorgement a la volé.
Vineyards
The vineyards are located at the heart of Bairrada, in Anadia, between the Caramulo and Buçaco mountains at an elevation of about 50 meters above the sea level. The older vineyards were planted in 1972, followed by new plantations in 1999.
