Tasting Notes
Young ruby-coloured red wine. Intense aroma of red and black fruit, surrounded by notes of well-integrated wood and spices. In the mouth, it’s intense, fat, fresh, with silky tannins. Lots of volume and a long, persistent finish.
Food Pairing
Goes well with intense meat dishes, grilled meats, roasts, stews, game and lamb. Strong aged or soft cheeses.
Vinification
Crushing and destemming, fermentation in a granite press, foot trodden for 3 hours on the first day, and periodic pumping over throughout fermentation.
Barrel Aging
Used barrels with a capacity of 7000 litres and French oak barrels with a capacity of 300 litres, for 18 months.
