Vines
Vineyards located on the left bank of the Douro River between 150 and 250 meters above sea level on shale soils with exposure mainly to the North.
Vintage
Manual harvest into 15 kg boxes between the 26th and 30th of September.
Winemaking
Grapes sorted on the sorting mat. After destemming, the grapes are trodden by foot in granite vats. Fermentation takes place for 7 days with pumping over. At the end of alcoholic fermentation, the wine was transferred to second and third year French oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation took place. Aged for 18 months in 2nd and 3rd year French oak barrels and barrels.
