Aroma Aroma of red and black fruit (plums, blackberries and cassis).
Mouth The palate is fresh and harmonious, with tannins that are present but well polished. Persistent and a long finish.

Meat dishes from traditional Portuguese cuisine, poultry (duck) and game.
Vineyards
This wine comes from vineyards planted in Quinta da Pacheca, Lamego, with 50 to 60 years old and from Vila Nova de Foz Côa with 25 years old.
Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation following complete destemming and crushing, at a temperature of 25º C. Malolactic fermentation taking place simultaneously with alcoholic fermentation. Aging in oak barrels for one year.
