TASTING NOTES
Colour Deep ruby.
Aroma Presents a nose where the fruit stands out, notes of plums and gooseberries with a touch of coffee and dark chocolate.
Mouth On the mouth, the wood is perfectly integrated, very rich, powerful with round and velvety tannins which results in great freshness and persistence.

Food Pairing
Grilled and roasted meats.

Vineyards
This wine is obtained from grapes that comes from vineyards planted in Quinta da Pacheca with 40 years old.

Vinification
<the grapes were manually harvested, destemmed and crushed. The fermentation occurred during 7 days in the traditional granitic stone tanks with foot treading and smooth reassembles. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation the wine was transferred into stainless steel vats where the malolactic fermentation occurred.

Barrel Aging
12 months in 2nd and 3rd year French oak barrels.
