Touriga Francesa, The Queen of the Douro
Touriga Francesa is perhaps one of the most important grape varieties in the Douro region. It is a variety that every winemaker likes and knows how to work.
It is a very homogeneous variety, with a very regular production, which allows us to obtain wines of extreme quality!
At Quinta da Pacheca it is an extremely versatile variety, used in several lots of Port Wine of longevity, of long aging in barrels. It is also used in long bottle aging, in Vintage and LBV.
With this variety a new project was born in Quinta da Pacheca and we created a monovarietal, the Grande Reserva Touriga Francesa. This is our "little baby", launched in 2020, very aromatic, mainly of black fruit, very ripe; notes also coming from wood married with chocolate and cocoa.
It is a wine that will certainly please your palate!
