Over four generations of dedication to winemaking built a legacy of excellence, embodied today by Pedro Alegre at Quinta do Ortigão, ensuring that each bottle honors the family’s tradition, authenticity and commitment to quality.
RED WINES
Expressive Soul
Quinta do Ortigão’s red wines are defined by their depth, structure, and expressive character. In their youth, they showcase ripe red and dark fruit notes, gradually evolving into silky textures and complex earthy nuances as they mature.
The careful selection of Baga, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Cabernet Sauvignon results in wines with firm yet polished tannins, lively acidity, and a lingering finish.
