Annually, Jornal Publituris holds two events to distinguish excellence in Tourism: the Portugal Trade Awards and the Portugal Travel Awards. This initiative, unique in its kind in Portugal, had its genesis in 1969 under the name of "The Best of Tourism in Portugal".
