TASTING NOTES
Bright white wine with a citrine yellow color and greenish hues. On the nose, it is aromatic and expressive, showing notes of stone fruits such as peach and apricot, combined with delicate floral aromas. Complex and elegant. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich, well-balanced, with excellent volume and a long, persistent finish.
Food Pairing
This
wine pairs beautifully with baked fish, cod, and octopus, as well as with meat dishes and soft cheeses, thanks to its complexity and generous body.
Vineyards
This wine comes from very old vineyards, which results in a diverse blend of traditional Douro white grape varieties.
Vinification
Vinification using the ‘bica aberta’ (open must) method. After direct pressing of the grapes in a pneumatic press, the must undergoes static clarification, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature between 14°C and 16°C, with the inoculation of selected yeasts.
